***NEW PARK OPERATING HOURS- All City of Bennettsville parks will be open from South Carolina's official Sunrise to Sunset, unless otherwise posted, and unless the park, park facility, recreational facility, or playground is hosting a City organized or permitted activity (as per Ordinance 97.01).

The Tourism, Parks, and Recreation Department strives to advance the City of Bennettsville to travelers and hometown folks alike through the promotion of activities, businesses, and events for all ages.

Bennettsville Community Center located on North Marlboro Street offers rental event space with a stage, audio/visual equipment,  commercial catering kitchen, exercise studio, multipurpose room, and individual classrooms. The main event has the capacity of 428 people.

The City of Bennettsville operates eight (8) parks for the public’s enjoyment within the city limits: Kids Land Park, McLeod Street Basketball Park, Hodges Park, Smith Park, Woodland Gardens, Woodland Playground, Marlboro Street Baseball Park, and Marlboro Street Tennis Park. All facilities accept reservations for private and public functions.
