The City of Bennettsville is partnering with the South Carolina Department of Commerce to participate in the Rural Development & Strategic Planning Initiative, a program aimed at helping rural communities grow stronger by improving economic opportunity and quality of life. 

As part of this effort, the City is preparing a Strategic Plan that will identify key priorities and a catalyst project eligible for implementation funding. Community input is essential to ensuring this investment reflects local needs and opportunities.
