The City of Bennettsville has an opening for a Distribution Collection Supervisor. Applicant directs and coordinates water distribution and wastewater collection systems maintenance, repair and expansion. Prepares, manages, and monitors expenditures with the operating budget. Keeps and maintains records for SCDHEC-regulated programs. Performs duties such as backflow prevention, leak detection, water loss audit, hydrant flushing, flow readings, and valve maintenance.
Applicants should have a technical college diploma supplemented by a minimum of 4 years of experience in a job-related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must possess a Water Distribution Operator “A” certificate, a Wastewater Collection Operator “A” certification, and a Backflow Prevention certification. Must possess a valid SC driver’s license.
